Key Responsibilities:
As an Account Executive at SalesRabbit, you’ll focus on what you do best: closing deals and guiding prospects through the sales funnel. Supported by a highly capable SDR team handling outreach, your role will focus on high-impact activities:

  • Discovery & Demo Mastery: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions and product demos, primarily via Zoom, to understand client needs and communicate how SalesRabbit’s solution addresses their pain points.
  • Full Ownership of Sales Cycle: From discovery to close, you’ll manage every stage of the sales process, including presenting pricing, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts.
  • Collaborative Solution Building: Collaborate with internal teams (sales engineers, customer success, product) to craft tailored, technical solutions that align with client goals.
  • Follow-Up & Relationship Management: You’ll be the point person for your clients—ensuring continuous follow-up, fostering strong relationships, and addressing concerns to push deals across the finish line.
  • Leverage Technology & Systems: Use tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and other tech stacks to stay organized, track opportunities, and optimize your workflows.

Experience & Skills You Bring:

  • Proven Field Sales Expertise: 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 2+ years of door-to-door sales as a sales representative and at least 1 year of recruiting and managing a full 20+ person team (ideally in Solar or Roofing). You’ve outperformed your peers, hit quotas, and can provide references who will verify your success.
  • SaaS Sales Experience: Ideally at least 1+ years of experience as an AE in SaaS, where you’ve mastered the art of solution-based selling, delivering results in a competitive tech environment.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ideally, you’ve run your own business, demonstrating not only resilience and problem-solving but also the ability to take ownership and drive initiatives.
  • Competitive Drive & Grit: You’re self-motivated, gritty, and thrive under pressure. You bring a never-quit attitude to every opportunity and push yourself to exceed targets, even in challenging circumstances.
  • Tech Savvy: You know your way around CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and sales enablement tools like Outreach, and you can learn new technologies quickly.
  • Communication Skills: You’re a natural communicator—whether over Zoom, the phone, or email—and can quickly build rapport with potential clients.
  • Organized & Diligent: You excel at managing multiple deals at various stages and stay on top of your calendar, follow-ups, and key client touchpoints without missing a beat.
  • Creative & Adaptable: You're not just following a script. You are always thinking of new ways to approach challenges, and you love experimenting with tactics to see what works best.
